Apple Valley, CA – March 26, 2012: Hit the trail and get ready to see Apple Valley from the saddle! High Desert horse owners are invited to join the Town of Apple Valley Equestrian Advisory Committee (EAC) at Lion’s Park on South Outer Highway 18 between Dale Evans & Flathead on Sunday, April 29 riding out at 10 a.m. The ride will be limited to 30 experienced riders and the route determined based on the assembled groups’ level of skill. The EAC invites riders to celebrate a piece of Apple Valley’s history on horseback by riding the Town’s easement system. Easements generally run along the power lines behind homes. Use of easements for trail riding is a great way to preserve the Town’s heritage, get to know the neighborhood and ride locally.
